The old Wangdue Phodrang Dzong finally dies..

Even if this clause culminates with a punch line of what Wangdue Phodrang Dzong is to the present day, it would frivol away rest of my feckless life to unravel how, why and what caused it to burn to ashes.

As I nibbled kuenselonline site, it shocked me to clock the grizzled showcase was on fire. It seemed nothing more than a fire place for those occupants close at hand. I am sure; all of them watched how the raging fire engulfed the feeble colossal, and it just didn't take less to do so.

The moment later I was speed-ed into Facebook and blogs, hoping everyone would be keen on this matter and yes, most of them renewed their statuses with the breaking news of burning Dzong.

I just realized it was founded in 1638 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel and not even once in 374 years Bhutan had a heart to rejuvenate the Dzong unless it felt under some terrible natural calamity. I could infer that Bhutan cared too less to preserve this historically magnificent architecture. And Zhabdrung, if he is watching right now would at least be ashamed of having invented such a priceless marvel.

It matters less now, but I am glad that the malevolently high branded Bhutanese government officials would have much less to devour for themselves and their families as the funds should flow for its restoration or the Dzong would be inscribed in water.

I feel sorry for Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel, that is all.

Alcohol consumption boosts memory

APPARENTLY, MODERATE DRINKING BOOSTS YOUR IQ
Alcohol ‘improves IQ’
The researchers, at the National Institute for Longevity Sciences in Aichi Prefecture, near Tokyo, tested the IQs of 2000 people between 40 and 79 years of age and discovered an IQ of 3.3 higher in those who drank 540ml of wine a day than those who did not. Women scored 2.5 more than teetotallers.

It is proposed that moderate drinking improves brain power according to the Japanese research. It is thought that an ingredient of alcoholic drinks may restrict the hardening of the arteries which could otherwise lessen the blood flow. However, there are other factors linked to moderate alcohol consumption which could also be linked to improved IQ..

Reasons to fear 2012 doomsday prediction

Mayan calender predictions are known to come true. With still one pending prediction to come late in December 2012 it worth a time to spend knowing about. Here are the popular predictions from Mayam Calender that came partly or wholly true.
    In the past one year we were warned by predictions that the world might come to its culmination which has provoked immense anxiety in certain subsets of population. Although 2012 is nearing its end and till this point there has not been a single signs to show that it really might come true as predicted on 21st December 2012. Maya predictions have been all till today precise as predicted. Some of the popular predictions are;

Firstly, in 8th century AD, Mayan Calendar predicted that white skin bearded god would come across the sea on 15th March 1519 which came as arrival of Spanish conquistadors in the new world on the day prediction, surprisingly.
Secondly, what we call today “black hole” in our galaxy was long before predicted by Maya. They called it “HUNAB KU”, meaning central and the creator of all.
Thirdly, a total solar eclipse which darkened the world in 11th August 1999 was also coincided their prediction.
Fourthly, another worthy prediction of an eruption of cosmic energy rays from the back hole dated on year 1992 is now realised as the increasing temperature that might be generated by the cosmic energy as a result of pollution. The cosmic energy rays were witnessed and confirmed in 2004.
The fifth Mayan Calendar prediction was a change of dominance from left-brain to right-brain execution at the same time frame as above which is very much true according to the studies conducted.
Since one of the predictions for 21st December 2012 doomsday rooted from ancient Mayan Calendar which it does make a little sense to know about it even if it doesn’t come true.
Were Mayan calendar predictions so great to lead all of them to truth or it all happened because of one word “coincidence”? We will wait for the truth to come on 21st December 2012.
